rings n bases for my CZ 527 Carbine

I just went down this road and went with the Warne CZ527 Quick Release rings. I plan on using the scope most the time but wanted the option of using the irons if necessary without needing tools. I also have Talley fixed rings on my 527 Varmint (no sights) and they are good too. Keep in mind that the high bolt throw on these rifles can contact the scope ocular bell with some scope/ring combos.

These rings mount directly to the rifle, no need for bases.

do you happen to know anyone that has these in stock currently? also, what height did you buy?

For the Warne rings you can try Western Gun parts, for the Talley try Prophet River. Go with the 'high' rings or you will likely have issues with bolt handle clearance. I found the Warne 'high' is slightly higher than the Talley 'high'.

I purchased a CZ 527 American of the EE last month, and spent quite a bit of time trying to find the right rings to go with it. I chose Warne rings, purchased from Western Gun Parts in Edmonton, because they were the lowest I could find. I did need to file the bolt handle to clear a B&L 4x32, but was able to do a nice job with about an hours careful labour, and you can hardly tell it has been modified. (Only the slightly different blueing gives it away). Now I have a compact package with a scope that still looks a little high, but better, at least for me, than if I had gone with CZ or other, higher rings. PS I went with Warne medium rings, which are .425". Hope this helps, I can share a photo if that might help .....

I looked around a lot too and found the Talleys with a Bushnell Elite fit nicely without being too high and didn't need to modify the bolt handle. The Warnes I got just because they are the only QD's I could find.

well, I have a much smaller scope, the Redfield Revolution 2-7x33. thinking of picking up the new Revenge, being it's fully multi-coated lenses vs multi-coated.

being this is the first time I'm attempting to buy rings not at a shop, at the very same time, my noobish-ness is coming out. would someone be so kind as to confirm the Warne Medium height 1" CZ ring part # I need?

I think it may be 201LM, but I'm not 100%.

thank you all for your suggestions and assistance! :)

CGN really should start a kudos system, a rating system for helpful posts.

crap, those Warne removeable rings are expensive! shipped/taxed to me they were $132.82. <_<

now I just have to consider the optics I want on it. have the Redfield Revolution...but I'm thinking of grabbing the Redfield Revenge, as they're fully multi-coated, not just multi-coated.

might have to buy the Weaver K and V series with 36mm objectives, just for the fun of it, too.
