Rings not fully engaged with rail, am I overthinking this?

Having recently had laser eye surgery, it seems it has affected my eye relief on my scopes.
My 2x 34mm scopes are on Bighorn Origin actions.
The front of the rail is cut with a bevel.
I used to be able to use the slot before the last, now I need the last slot if I’m pushing the scope forward.

Here are a few pics of the rail and the rings.
The ring bases are quite large, so I presume I’m good to go even though I’m losing a bit of engagement.

In your opinion, I’m good to go as I was overthinking this or you wouldn’t dare run such a setup?

(Put some silver sharpie on ring clamp for reference)

The cross piece takes up the bulk of the recoil, the clamp could probably be half of it's present size and still function fine...

Thanks, this makes much sense, having the cross bolt tight on the recoil lug is what holds it more than the clamp!

It also gave me distance between the turret assembly and the ring.
As this scope has gritty parallax knob feeling if you torque a ring too close of the turret assembly.
Chatted with NF aftersales service and it’s allegedly normal in the ATACR lineup.

Who's "hinged" top cap scope rings?

Purchase quality rings & shoot!!

These are ARC M10 rings.
We can say I have an obsession over them, as my 4 premium grade bolt action rifles all sport these rings.
The best design in my humble opinion.

Unrelated but I quite like that stock. Care to share some details if the build?

Sure I always love chatting about my projects!
This project was mostly assembled using components from Tom at Go Big Tactical.

Bighorn Origin action (Savage small shank prefit and R700 footprint)
IBI 26’’ MTU profile 6.5x47 Lapua savage small shank prefit
Insite Arms brake 3/4x24 threads
TT diamond trigger
Manners composite stock, CF shell with mini chassis and built in bottom metal
Area 419 ARCA rail

In the background is a CZ457 with another Manners stock, a trainer to my full size
Just love Manners products, in fact I ordered another one on the way, for my other Origin action.
As I sold my MDT ACC to switch up for this stock.

Too many points of failure(3 per ring) for my equipment's use.

Ken Farrell for the WIN!!

ARC's are some of the best rings out there, and have arguably the most elegant design. The man who designed them is a pretty brilliant engineer, there's a few clever features to his design that makes it superior to others.

If you are making ARC scope fails, then you are doing something seriously wrong.

Looks ok to me! Send it!

The ARC rings are sweet. I love how once you level they dont rotate at all. All my rifles also sport these rings!
