I bought a 93r17 tr, added a EGW base. I have a Vortex viper PA 6.5x20 50mm scope.

Now i am shopping for rings. With the EGW base on, looks like im gonna need a low set of rings. Just wondering if anyone else has experience with a s similar setup. I am looking a Burris signature rings, but they only have medium and up. The second set i am looking at are the Burris xtreme tactical which have a 1/4'' lows.http://www.burrisoptics.com/xtrrings.html
 
similar? hmm, savage mk II TRR (so has that giant rail piece) and with a 50mm objective scope i use leapers low rings from marstar and have a bit more than 5mm of clearance between the scope and the barrel. and as far as my line-of-sight (cheek weld sight line), it's still a bit high and if i could lower it by 3-5mm, i would.
