Rio Top Target 20ga, pic shows brass BUT...

When I bought a case of it & opened them at home, it looks like they're actually nickel, NOT brass...

Talk about "bait & switch"!!!

Grrr, I bought the Rio because of the pic...

Like, haven't most shells (At least the majority of the target loads out there) not been actual brass in forever? At best they're steel with a super thin brass plating layer. All magnetic though. With the exception of maybe some expensive high brass shells.

And does it make much of a difference?

Were you planning to reload these and that’s why you want brass heads?
I don’t think any European ammo has brass heads anymore
Steel ones still reload just fine they are just a little harder on the sizer on the press

I was planning on giving the hulls to a buddy who reloads...

But you guys would agree, in the pic it looks like brass... That's not what's in the boxes... They'll shoot just fine, but IMHO it's a bait & switch...

Even the brass looking ones aren’t totally brass, they all pick up with a magnet. These will work fine for your buddy.

The only brass case heads are Winchester AA, Remington STS, Remington Nitro, Federal High Overall as far as I know.
