RIP Stephen Milton, Precision Arms

RIP

Never had the pleasure of dealing with him, but I met Lisa this summer in the hunt for a new shotgun case. I have never had such good service from a retailer.

Very sad to hear this, hadn't seen him in years but helped me headspace an Enfield No.4 rifle when I was just a young guy without tools or a clue of how to do it myself.

A little late, but RIP Mr. Milton.

Oh wow, I didn’t know that Stephen had passed away. I used to visit his shop frequently when he was in King City. He was certainly a talented man. Another good one has left us.

And to a previous comment, his obituary was interesting, as were some of the comments. One in particular that indicated that the obituary didn’t make mention to his children or grandchildren which is unfortunate.

Thank you for sharing your memories of my father. He was indeed a talented man, and it’s appreciated that he is still remembered.

The obituary you referenced did not fully represent his life or family. He had children and grandchildren, and he is now a great-grandfather. While the obituary reflected one perspective, our family continues to remember and honour him for the roles that meant the most to him.

Rest well Dad. Two years gone but never forgotten 🩵

To say he was talented is an understatement. His work was world class. I always appreciated his direct nature. Didn’t seem to be the type to beat around the bush, but was always honest, respectful and extremely knowledgeable. The last time I saw him, I went in to pick up a gun I had left him for a repair. I went with my spouse and while I was paying my bill, he walked out from the back for a quick chat. When he saw my spouse, he complimented her for her curly blonde hair. He then looked at me and said you’re a very lucky guy to have such a beautiful wife. Did that ever make her day!

My condolences on your loss. Met your father on numerous occasions while shooting sporting clays events. Remember the huge grin on his face when he won the Canadian championship at Uxbridge! Like a kid at Christmas. Skilled at many things.
