Any first hand experience with this scope? Just curious how good or bad it really is.
I'm using one on my CZ455 Super Match, and I love it. Narrow field of view at high magnification, but what do you expect from a 1" scope. Extremely clear glass, very fine reticle for precision shooting. exposed turrets with zero stop on elevation and zero set on windage work perfectly. Bought on sale at Tenda; could have got another make of scope for this application, with these features for maybe twice the money.
I also have a Riton Primal 1 on my 6.5 x 55 for a couple years; very clear also, zero issues; more basic reticle for range and ground hogs. 4 -16 X 44. Perfect for that application, and clear enough that before getting the Conquer 1 6-24x50, I used it to see my .22 target at 100 yards.

I own two, they're the most expensive scopes I have so my opinion isn't worth much. I have one on my MK2 and another I just got another on sale for my 17, 223 or 22-250. I haven't had any issues with function on my first one I've had for a year. I'm pretty careful with my stuff but it has been frozen and bumped around a bit with no issues. The magnification ring is stiff, my new one seems less stiff. The turrets have a good click, and a slight bit of play, about the thickness of the indicator line less than a mm.
On my 22 I've done lots of elevation adjusting and it tracks as it should, I get out to 250 yards with SV ammo using the full adjustment and reticle drop on a 0 MOA rail.
I have a few Bushnell AR and Engage up to 18X, compared to the Riton X1 on 18x the Riton is clearer. My Simmons ProTarget 6-24 doesn't come close on any attributes, but it was $120
For a 24x scope under $400 its an ok deal, at $240 its a steal, that why I bought the second one. The next closest in the market is an Arken or Bushnell Prime around $500.
So it should hold up ok on my 222? The glass isn’t going to fall out lol
I'm using my Primal 1 on a 6.5 x 55 SE, and I load to the hot side for accuracy. No Issues.
I’m assuming the 1 Primal is comparable to the 1 Conquer?
Not quite as many features and 4-16 x 44. Simpler dot reticle focal plane, parallax adjustment, but covered turrets, but zero setable; good varmint scope IMO; the conquer is more suited to target, but had it been available at the price that Tenda is selling them at, I likely would have bought one for the 6.5 instead of the one that I did; but the Primal has proven it self more than adequate for the Job.
I'm happy with both.
Good to know. I would think the Primal could hold up ok on a 30/06? Just to give me more options.
You aren’t getting any better quality vortex or primary arms for the riton x1 price point. There are a lot better options there, try Vortex or Primary Arms.
