I bought a 4-16X44 Riton Primal 1 on spec. The reviews I saw were pretty good and I figured the low price might be a teaser to break into the North American market. I should have known better at my age. You can find deals but as a rule of thumb you do get what you pay for. In my case, I mounted it on a .308 Ruger American with the short barrel and the muzzle brake. The internals fell apart within 10 shots!!! It has an unlimited lifetime no questions asked return policy, and when the new one came, I sold it off to guy who wants to mount it on his .22. Maybe it'll work for him. They were cagey about the country of manufacture and sure enough, it's another piece of Chinese garbage. They look good and they are......good for nothing! So just a "heads up" to my fellow GGN'ers. If you need good optics, save up if you have to but don't buy cheap optics.
