anyone have any experience with this powder and Nosles Accubond 180gr?
looking at the manufacturer's site the max load is 66 gr for close to 3100 fps.
what are your findings?

reloader 17 in 300wsm

well i just got back from the range today, and was pleased with my load development for the 300 wsm.No real surprises, with 180 gr. nosler accubonds seated .030" off the lands giving me a o.a.l. of 2.982" which just fit the magazine i was averaging 3004 fps @ 64.5 grs. of reloader 17 group size was .525", moving up to 65.0 grs. avg. m.v.3051 fps group size of .550" both loads really didn't show any pressure signs. CED millennium II chrony was used for all loads also Fed210 primers and norma brass. Not bad results for fireforming new brass.

Has anyone tried this powder with lighter weight bullets such as the 168 Grain Barnes TTSX?

I have tried the RL17 under 165 grain Hornady Interbonds in my 300 wsm. Velocity was great - just over 3200 fps with max loads - but accuracy sucked big time. Normally my A-Bolt will shot an honest 3-shot 1 MOA group but this combination never did better than 3 inch 100 meter groups.

In order to establish a benchmark I am planning on trying the powder under some 190 Hornady BTSP that my A-Bolt usually shoots very well using any other powder I have tried.
