Does anyone have any experience with Robar's BCG? I am interested in one and would like to find out who makes them, their quality, etc etc. Thanks..

NP3 is a self lubricating teflon based coating, it's currently used on the Springfield Pro model issued to some FBI Agents. Robar is a first class operation, I'm thinking any BCG they produce will be very good indeed.

All the stuff I found online raves about their NP3 coatings. However I can't find much about their actual BCG, etc. That makes me wonder if they are sourced out...

If they are (probably are, in fact) they're coming from a place that knows it's stuff - all of the boxes are ticked in their description, the right steel, the right inspections, it's all there. Given the reputation they have, if that's what you want, I'd go for it - keep in mind it'll have to come across the border legally, which will further add to the cost.

I called their office and spoke with Matt in customer service. In a nutshell:

-Robar sources their bcg from the same manufacturer as Colt USA;
-The bcg are M16 F/A with shrouded firing pins;
-Entire bcg coated in NP3 or choice of NP3 Plus.
