Does anybody here know if the original folding stock (on US models) which is shown on the Robarms website is legal in Canada to install on XCR's?

Thanks.

Dwarf is correct, although if you can buy it used or for less than $100, I believe it is admissible as an export permit isn't required under US law.

Never used a CTR, but I doubt you can go wrong with Magpul.

The Robarm folder has no positive lock when in the folded position, it relies on the friction of the the hinge to hold it in place. The the gun around will cause the stock to flop around. When unfolded, it uses a flat head screw to take up the slack in the hinge. You back the screw out to create tension, but then you have a loose screw sticking out the back of your rifle. All in all, I wasn't impressed.

With any luck, Stormwerks will make an adapter.

Why?
What do you think of the Magpul CTR?

Most of magpul's stuff is pretty good. Some of it sorta questionable in it's application, but the stock's are well made and fairly well thought out and feedback on them has almost always been positive with a few, "Would've been nice,"" or "One or two acceptable quirks."

Be nice if they did a copy of the G36's or the Sig's stock design.

to quote Charles Martel the NEA adapter for converting folding stocks to the XCR will be designed so that...

"the stock side hinge will be compatible with the receiver side hinge we made for the CZ so you will be able to swap stocks with the simple removal of a bolt on several rifle platforms."

But i believe you will still need the NEA XCR to AR stock adapter whether you go with fixed or folding. The fixed adaptor is available at Wolverine now and the folding adaptor will be out in mid to late Jan. Thats what I'm waiting for. :D
