got a notice that there is an estate sale this weekend in my town and this is one of the guns listed for sale. Anyone know anything about this or any idea what it would be worth. Doesn't say who made it.

thanks

There have been commemorative pistols made by the equivalent of Franklin Mint for a while. They are a sucker's buy. Too hideous to shoot in public; too emotionally invested to dump on the gun market.

BTW, Robert E Lee had been dead for about 100 yrs in 1971. Anything offered a century after his death is hardly a noteable occasion.
