Well I am happy to say I recieved my call today that my new stock (TAC)from Robertson Composites here in Ottawa (got to love a local place that makes such high quality stocks) and they even bedded it on my Remington 700. I have to say this is a well made stock, now I truly understand why they have such a good reputation. Also a shout out to Allen Gunworks for the ultra quick install on my oversized bolt knob, also amazing price! Enjoy the pictures!

A little club fisted are you? :D

That's huge! I would worry about the handle breaking off the bolt body if you slam it around...

I have a SPS Varmint, 26" barrel in .308. I got alot of options on it and I had them bed it for me, all in with tax $1320! I was going to get a McMillian but figured I would support a local Canadian company!

That's the same 700 I was looking at getting, but was going to change the stock for sure, I think I have a man crush on your gun right now, lol

the 1320, is that including the gun or just the stock ?

Beauty!

Quick question, is that the light or medium texture?

I would say medium...it is actually very nice. I could see this being very beneficial if it was slippery...

It is a great rifle for the price. It has the heavy bull barrel, a great starting point for a build. Next mod is to get a picatinny rail (Allen Gun Works has a good price on one), then save up for a better scope, I want to try F class. Eventually I will have a detachable mag (ATRS maybe?).......if I get into F class then that will entail a whole new build! lol

How long was the wait for one ?

Well I originally commissioned this build at the end of January, and was told 10 weeks, but I just got it yesterday. I was not in a rush so I wasn't worried about the wait, they are a great company, Paul even took me to see how everything was put together. They are very busy right now, which is a good sign that shooters are spending their money in the right place! :canadaFlag:

Looks very nice. I sure wish someone made nicer flip up covers. Leupold got the idea right with the Alumina ones.
