Robinson arms xcr question need help.

i am going to replace the flash hider on my xcr, and my question is, do the flash hiders have a set screw? i noticed on the bottom of the hider, there is a small hole. i tried all of my standard hex keys in there, but i dont think i feel a screw? im going to a PWS FSC556 Tactical Compensator, and i dont want to injure the ole girl. i tried a wrench on her, but i was turning harder than i wanted too, before i found out the answer.

if you can see a hole, that means you have one that isn't pinned. Otherwise a pin would be in that hole and there would be a weld over it. You should be able to remove that one.

If you have one that is pinned is it still possible to change it out? i have a pinned one but want to put a diff hider on as well.

you need to grind off the weld, than grind around the pin until there is enought of the pin exposed to yank it out with a pair of pliers.
