Good evening all.

Maybe somebody can help me find a sling that fits my new Robinson XCR-L. Today I was told that the Magpul QD slings are too small for the XCR FASt Stock mounting hole. Not sure what to do, don’t really want to switch out the stock. Not sure what sling / connector will fit the hole on the stock.

Thoughts? Ideas?

The QD socket on the FAST is on the small side. I found GG&G QD swivels to be a tight fit that wear in to a perfect fit. There are only two sling choices: VCAS and padded VCAS. They're affordable, built to last and they're simple. There is no unnecessary crap strapped to them, just the way a sling should be.

I use a Magpul MS3 Sling along with a Magpul RSA on my XCR Micro. The QD is attached to the hole right underneath the folding mechanism on the Fast Stock and clamp is secured to the RSA installed on the top rail just before my Aimpoint.

The VCAS slings are awesome. I have one on my XCR-M and I got the swivels from Wolverine. Can't remember which ones they were but they were cheap(relatively) and good quality. The stud socket on the FAST stock is definitely TIGHT.

I also have Uncle Mike's slings on my lighter rifles and they are nice. May be good for the L but a little too thin for the M unless you were born without nerve endings.

Not to sure what is consider "Tight", If by tightness them meant it doesn't spin at all, that is how it is on my PWS and all other firearms in my safe that has OD sockets.
