I've been thinking about starting to reload rifle rounds and I found a RockChucker supreme kit - this one for $350 new.

It looks to have everything I need except maybe a case trimmer.

Is this a decent place to start or am I better off buying a press and components separately?

It looks like a good deal to me. There are always extras you will add as you go along like a trimmer you mentioned. A powder trickler is also handy. You will also need dies in your calibre of choice.

I will have one in stock on Thursday. They are a great deal. I do't think you will do better buying the tooling seperatly. Check out my website.
Email me if you have any questions.
Regards, Henry

I think its a as good a place to start as any.

Wow! Henry has a the Lee classic cast press for only $115. Thats a great deal for a good press. I thought I did well to get mine for $120.

Anyway, welcome to reloading. If your like many of us you are gonna spend lots. Its a great hobby.

Rock Chucker Kit

That is a good price.
Custom Reloading sells them at that price regularily.
Usual Price is about $400 dollars at most of the stores.
Happy reloading

North pro for $360. A bare press usually seems to go for $200. Our new Cabellas seems awful proud of their kits at $599.

Damn. I was looking at that chucker at North Pro. Nice snag.

I just about died when I saw the Cabelas price.

They had more than one, the open one on display and at least one sealed one that I bought.

*edit. The kit at Cabelas is slightly different, it has an electronic scale instead of a 505 and comes with a hat.
