Cool. Just wondering if you ca bring in RIA's version of 10/22 with or without the Stock. I believe, similar to a Ruger 10/22, a fully complete upper (minus the stock) drops into any 10/22 aftermarket stock. If the price is competitive, this will be a good project istead of buying a complete R 10/22 and upgrading almost everything.

That handguard is massive. Cool little rig.

Makes me SO glad I've got one of the originals.

But on a positive note, YES they are a cool little rig. They are a very nicely machined little firearm. Well above their price point. Don't let made in the Philippines fool you on this one. It's one of their premier firearms, unlike the 10/22 clone. My wife is from the Philippines and her family couldn't believe I owned one of these over here. They love them.

Takedown for cleaning is a slight PITA but not too bad. A few screws in the top of the receiver and a couple of small pins to push out. I wouldn't say it's any worse than cleaning a JR Carbine.

The trigger is very nice, it has some (ok, a lot of) creep BUT it is extremely smooth and light. Like less than 2 lbs light.

I've found it to be a little ammo sensitive. Basically it likes quality ammo not the bulk bucket crap or any lead nosed ammo. I mainly shoot Winchester Super X 37 grain high velocity hollow points and it functions great.

Oh and it's accurate. At 50 yards with my 12x scope I can put 10 rounds of Remington/Eley Club .22 LR 40 Grain into ragged holes. At 100 yards I can easily do 1" - 1 1/4".

Although I'm not a fan of the furniture on the new version I think it's definitely worth the money.

Now that I'm done I just want to know CAN YOU GET ME SOME SPARE MAGS IRG?

I did chat to a Rock island distributer and was told there is a shipment of metal magazines that are expected for the USA for the mig22. But are months late with the import, i have 6 orderd... Would be nice to get them before it snows :)
I have 2 of the original mig22, and are the only 2 i could find in canada, used . I broke the extractor on one of them the other day, and had to manufacture one from a 12mm tool steel rod, after hours of grinding and fitting and filing, it was just right, and after the torch and a dip in the oil it was ready, i wish parts were avalable, not that i have anything against making parts . It is a pain in the butt

I’ve been looking for metal mags forever! Who is the distributor? The polymer ones are easy to grip, but don’t run well. Have had zero issues with the metal ones, but they seem to be Unobtainium...

Good day

This is regarding your inquiry about the Mig22 Aluminum magazine. I was advised that new stock will be shipped out from our factory in April. We have not received the shipment though yet. Please try to check again towards the end of this month.
