I just scored a Rock Island Armoury M22 [ Ruger 10/22 clone ] from SFRC that was on sale and discounted a further 10% for boxing day.Not too much info out there about the rifle. Anyone have any experience with the rifle? thanx.

I got my 10/22 for $249.99
Just wondering how much of a deal did you get?
Looks like you might have got it for under $200!
Hope you have fun with your new gun!
What parts are you going to upgrade first?
Buffer, auto bolt release, charging handle, barrel?
Wow, at 7lbs it's no light weight.

Not sure yet . Just a truck gun really but I may get mod happy. Total cost to me is $244.35. I got another 10% on a already good deal. I do have some Archangel 30 rounders somewhere.

That's great! $60 less than my total to me for my ruger.
That's $60 extra for mods!
Wanstalls, questar and Milarms are good places to start.
Got my axiom stock on amazon.ca really cheap.
The bolt buffer is one of the first mods I regret not doing first!
The auto bolt mod is free!

The Armscor receiver won't accept 10/22 aftermarket barrels, they make them larger for some reason so you are stuck with the factory barrel with these rifles.

Yes I read that somewhere, very sucky till there is a demand for aftermarket barrels.
Maybe saving $60 isn't so hot after all. :(

That's probably what drove the price down, when these were initially offered they were $249....OK deal at $214 if you don't want to mod it I guess.

Aftermarket barrels for them are already in the works.

The reason for them being priced low is that I wanted to get a bunch on the market so people could see them, use them etc. They aren't meant to be a low cost 10/22, they are meant to be an alternative to them. My only real complaint is that the pistol grip area of the stock is fatter than a 10/22 and the finish on the stock isn't as nice as a Ruger.
