Rock River arms - Buffer retainer and spring gone

Looking for some help, I pulled my 9mm Rock River out of the safe to go shooting the other night and noticed that I was unable to drop the hammer on it. So I opened it up and noticed the buffer retainer and spring were gone. My question is are the parts universal between ARs?

Check to make sure that your buffer tube is screwed in far enough.

Those two items aren't usually prone to falling out.

See above. Turn in the tube until it holds the part in place. Then turn the locking ring.

I almost lost those when I first put together my AR. Luckily I found them before the carpet could eat them.

The positioning of the receiver extension/buffer tube should be just enough that it will keep the retainer in the hole, but not so far that the retainer can't come all the way up and block the buffer.
