In another thread I was moaning about the stock trigger in the DD (a typical AR15 trigger) and how much nicer the Rock River was in the Norinco.
Last night I installed a RR in the DD. It was a much easier job than installing it in the Norc.
In the Norc I had to take a file to the notch in the safety bar and make the notch wider.
The trigger just dropped into the DD, easy peasy. The instructions called for taking the safety off, first. It looked to me like this was not necessary, so I left it in place. All that is required is to knock out the two pins that hold the trigger and the hammer and to put the pins back, holding the new trigger and hammer. The trigger slips under the safety easily.
Add a dab of grease and voila! a nice trigger. This one is the single stage match trigger. I am guessing about a crisp 3 pounds.
Both rifles will be at the CQB tomorrow. You are welcome to feel them if you have not felt a RR before.
