Rolling Block 16GA with smokeless loads ?

TradeEx got a few vintage rolling blocks ''shotgun'' in 16ga.

I was wondering if they are safe to use with smokeless loads.

My father has one and he uses off the shelf ( excluding 'Hot' loads ) ammo

depending on the chamber length target loads mite be ok but id go with BP loads to be on the safe side
