Good morning! I have a Swedish Rolling block in some flavour of 12.7x? centerfire. I would prefer it in 45-70 for ease of reloading and shooting. Does anyone know if it makes sense to have it rebarreled and if so any recommendations on who to do the work. An idea on price would be ideal as well but I'm sure that is dependent on the amount of work required!

Cheers and happy shooting!

The Swedish 12.7 is almost the same as .50-70. Slight chamber reaming and use .50-70, if the bore is OK. A lot easier and cheaper than rebarreling to .45-70.
If you want it rebarreled, expect to pay several hundred for the barrel, several hundred more for the installation and chambering, installation of sights and finishing. Could easily run to $6-800 or more. If you don't do the work yourself, it is going to make for a rather expensive rifle.
