All matching ones usually sell for $400-500 US on GunBroker so $800-1000 CAN by the time they were imported
Thats reasonable, but I doubt there would be many takers in Canada, even at 500$
This is my reasoning. I like the SKS rifle and hope to have one from every country that manufactured them someday. A Romanian version would cost much more than a Russian or Chinese because they are much more scarce. Some people want to have one from every country and they are willing to pay for it. The fact that there is so little of a couple countries examples here drives the price up.
You are right. The owner sold them before I even got to see them. He comes up here to the Nicola Valley for fishing several times a year, usually bringing some interesting rifles to sell.C1A1, this isn't the first time you've made this thread. Also, the last time you made it you said you had been offered an East German SKS as well. I will tell you what I told you last time: the scope is aftermarket, Romania did not make an SKS that took optics. Furthermore, you PM'd me last time and said you'd be getting me pictures of both rifles so I could check them out for you and I never heard from you again. This was on 11-02-2014.
I wouldn't suggest anybody here hold their breath.
