Romeo1 optic owners? Do you like it.?

Any thoughts on the romeo1. How do you like it?

I perfer it only because no extra cost for plate. Direct bolt on for p320x5.

I've heard the earlier gens had issues with cracked screens and battery caps. If I do buy retail. Hopefully I get a newer manufacturered one.

Am thinking about buying a used one if I find one for a good price or I may just pay full retail so i get warranty.

Anyone send one back for warranty? Was it simple or a hassle?
 
The anodized finish on the aluminum housing of the Romeo 1 is total crap. Mine is so scarred up along every sharp edge and flat surface that it is half natural aluminum siver and half the residual black "finish". None of my other MRDS brands are anywhere near so bad! It speaks to the overall quality, me thinks....

That’s odd...Mine is almost a year old and has been on my go to pistol for Service Comditions and 3 Gun matches...It’s been dropped into multiple dump boxes and ground into the dirt in my holster while laying on it shooting modified prone and it is no worse for wear than any other optic of mine. You might have gotten a lemon. Or I got an exceptionally good one...The Romeo 1 is among my faves for a reasonably priced MRDS.
