Truly, Veronica Foster could bring the hot.

Her daughters were at the " Mississauga Doors Open" event two years ago and they were very interested in the Bren display from Collectors Source.

Inglis had a lot of social events during the war but they were a private company.

Long Branch was basically a defence plant set up as a crown corporation under " The Colonel"...they had official social events, but they were apparently not like the "parties" Inglis had.

Pretty sure it was Major Hahn not Colonel but i could be wrong ....Paul, did Fred and Al bring the trials sniper with the plaque on the butt as a gift from the Govt for his service ...very cool rifle ...I still have a couple brens but of coarse i cant do squat with them ...

Had she had her finger on the trigger the safety nazis would have complained where is all the outrage that she was working a lathe with no eye protection?

Those are some great pics of her, a lot of women worked in the factory's during the war cranking out all kinds of products.
My mom worked at GM in Oshawa back in the day,as a welder building the Mosquito bombers.

The Colonel was actually Colonel Malcolm P. Jolley who spent 6 months in the UK studying arsenal production methods at Enfield and a few other places before taking on the GM position at Long Branch.
The Trials rifle was not there but I borrowed a LB Sniper and one of the 10, No5 Rifles made at LB to bring along with some of my Para display.
