Rosebud Benchrest results

HI Keith

the unlimited was a 5 shot match. We were expecting wayne miller to come with his rail gun. he had to work last weekend.

My jay young rail is at russ haydons and the jerk told me today he put a action in it and it tracks nice. oh well

the potential record is for about a .217 at 200 yards. at least a screamer patch in order from the us of a.

yup I won the 2 gun both weekends ........... just a little lucky.

the panda i sold to a fellow in red deer robert went and set a aggregate record with it. the folks who passed on this rifle now are red faced.

tony also set a range record at 100 yards with a .081 group

the fourth record was a 100 yard group at about .106 was also mine.

hope to see you at regina to score or coach, I need a little help.

won a yardage at tacoma and second in the grand agg earlier this year.

seems to start off good. Hope I do not fall flat on my face at regina, i need to shoot well to show off alberta a little.

hope to see you soon. jeffy

I just looked and I can not hardly believe it, I'm NOT on call for that weekend. Yes, I plan on hitting Regina and at least watch you group shooters have some fun.

This year, I have made it to one match at the APRA. We shoot 300M, 400M, 500M and 600M then day 2 was a rain/snow out. Every match at the SPRA this year, I'm on call! I booked a few holidays around the matches just so I could go. I have to head to Regina anyways to finalize a presentation with my sister for my M&D's 50th Ann. so I plan on popping out to watch some of the groups form.

Good shooting guys and congrats,
kds

Yeh I got lucky and finally shot a screamer. I built a new flag it is hard to describe but it has been called a probinator. Idea is it is a probe that turns into the wind. It is still in the developement stage but works quite well when set for the wind velocity. Trouble at Rosebud is the wind doesn't always cooperate. It doesn't do 50 mile an hour winds well, but works pretty good under that speed. I am thinking two side by side - one for low velocity and one for hurricane velocity. See you in Regina Keith.....Tony

Jeff, I know were it is (Regina BR club), been there once or twice...

What "CD for range results" are you talking about??? I'm confussed now... nothing new eh!

Is that the one that allows you to enter the match results/competitors, etc, but which version is it, I have 6 different flavours here in zip files (email'able) and all of them maybe on Dan's copy

Group 100+200 2 Gun
Group 100+200 3 Gun
Group 100+200+300 2 Gun
Group 100+200+300 4 Gun (5-5 in UNL - I think, been awhile eh)
Group Regional 100+200 4 Gun (5-10 in UNL)
Group National 100+200 4 Gun (8-10 in UNL)

All are pre-loaded with data, you can delete this data and create your own records in the database...

Maybe Danny boy can just clone that one for you, he should bring it along so I know what it is your talking about here Jeff and I'll clone it there if I must, or I could emali ya Jeff if your inbox can handle the approx 2,500 KB files :) ..kds

How to get there from Brandon?

The plans are to slip out Friday and maybe see some practice and watch some shooting Saturday.

If I plan on getting one of them Bad Boys it sure would be nice to see some in action.

Will take TransCanada from Brandon to Regina then what?

Calvin

Calvin, From the East ie Brandon, stay on Hwy 1 (the road that looks like it is heading into the center of Regina) until you see the Hwy 11 (also known as the Yellowhead or Ring Rd to those from Regway hehehe), stay on Hwy 11 (the road to Lumsden and much further on, Saskatoon) until you see the 734 on the right, go left (West) 3/4 mile, until the first good grid (your 4th possible left, first 3 are to houses), go left (South) and you will see it on the right.

Looked her up on Google maps :) X marks the spot, this a 2 part pic, bottom half of the comp pic is the circled area in the top half which is zoomed out so you can see Lumsden and Regina.

Jeff, from Stoon (heading SE to Regina in Hwy 11), after you pass Lumsden and you see the 734 on the Left, go RIGHT(west), then blahblahblah, if you miss the 734 and see the dip/finger with the water in it that runs from Lumsden to Regina, you have gone too far.... :(

What are most doing for accomodations?

Some camping happening out there? or Moteling it? I was thinking of just a tent for the overnighter.

Not up on them fan-dangled new 5th wheel type trailers! One of them there would have a fun time with the Ford Ranger!!!!!

Calvin

ok to tent at the range

flush toilets but no showers unless you have a long rope??????

range will be occupied by shooters by the time you get there so whenever you can we will be there.
