I wasn't sure if this question should go into the edged weapons forum or here. I have a shot at a pattern 1907 Ross bayonet. The good news is it's uncut and I believe the 1907 are scarcer than the M10 bayonets. The bad news is that it's in pretty rough shape, but some TLC could take care of the worst of that, and it has no scabbard. The seller is asking $95.00. Please feel free to chime in and give me your thoughts and input. Thanks in advance.

I dont know much about Ross bayonet and pic would be great but $95 seems a good price if the bayonet is not broken in anyways.

There is a Ross rifle bayonet it's my dad's workshop... It's in pretty nice shape but it has been made pointier like most of them, the scabbard is in great shape too... When I go down for the holidays I'll try to put up a picture here for comparison. Pretty sure it was my grandpa's when I was a kid.

The Ross MkI, Pattern 1908, not 1907 was never officially sharpened so is common in its original profile. The Ross MkII ,Pattern 1911 ,was the model that was sharpened.

That's much more than I'd pay, especially in that condition and without scabbard. Yes I've seen them at stupid prices at show's, but if I've seen them for either side of $100.00. Run a WTB ad on the milsurp EE and see what comes up. I have picked up several MKII and MKIII Ross bayo's in recent years and haven't paid more than $125 (non for sale).
Cheers
Geoff
