I've seen a couple of Ross 1912 Cadets up on EE lately, and the asking price seems high. I have 4 of these things around here and I didn't put that kind of value on any of them. The cream of the crop is factory sporter (serial # on barrel) and it is in very good condition. I understand they are sum what rare, but not overly valuable, or am I behind the times on these little ones.

Thanks DAve

I personally think that with Rosses it depends wether they move at those prices. A member here has a M-10 with family provenance in perfect only shot four rounds ever condition that he was asking $2300 for. Steep yes but I wouldn't give up a family heirloom at any price, but if I did it wouldn't go for any less than a new record price. Then the other day a nearly identical rifle showed up at Joe Salters for $3250! Depends on how bad you want it. I waited two years and finally found my own near perfect M-10 at Epps in August for $750.

Everything Ross related seems to be getting much more attention, especially here on this site thanks to guys like Smellie and Buffdog getting a bunch of us young guys interested in them.
