I see there is a Ross bayonet at auction locally...interesting, I don't need it, but somebody may be interested. PM me for details.

Remember that it's probably one of the cut down bayonets - no muzzle ring- that were made for hunters etc back in the day. It is a bit rough, although for the right price it does appear to have a very nice scabbard.

Out of curiosity what would be the right price, with or without scabbard? I've seen a few of these around locally out my way as well and I'm just wondering how much I should be looking to pay if I wanted to pick one up.

$20 would be a fair price. All that is, is a poor hunting/camp knife with bad antiquated steel. It really isn't a Ross bayonet any longer. To state such is false and misleading.

"Used to be" a Ross Bayonet, or "fashioned from" a Ross Bayonet, is accurate. And still only $20 on a good day imho.
