I have an opportunity to buy a Ross rifle cadet in .22. It look to be fully original and fonctionning. How much does it worth?

Thanks

You see them anywhere from $350-$650. Some where military most were not Ive been told. Condition is everything as parts are all but not available.

I would concur with Rdrash's estimate. Complete and functional is the first check. Military models (look for markings on the buttstock) carry a bit of a premium. Be advised that many of these were "deactivated" by having the firing pin clipped and/or breaking the stock in two at the wrist, so you'll see many with a repaired break at that point on the stock. Not all that common to find and a lot of fun to shoot. Post photos if you can.

If a commercial contract it will have a serial number on leftside of chamber and generally no factory markings on rightside of butt. If military contract it should have Ross markings and likely some Cadet corp (CC) numbers etc on rightside of butt. Bores are often bad from corrosive ammo so watch for that. Be nice if you could show a pic.

It is a military model, the wood is full of old military marking and proof stamps. It is also mark DP so it may be not shootable. I have not see it personally, a friend of me does. I'll check if i can gather more informations.
