i am considering restoring my cut down ross m1910. i have a gent who is excellent at woood work and has done other milsurp forstocks.
i know from reading various posts on gunnutz, a front ross barrel band are a dream / not many around .
so
is there a band from another rifle wich is CLOSE enough to work / pass muster ( not correct but look mostly right?)
or
any member have a homemade copy or plans on making 1 up?
just a THOUGHT ...........NO use to stretch out the wood as a new forstock with out a front band .
