Agree with above estimate for military models. If barrel has been cut back, that should drop it to between $100 -$200. Bore and blueing on metal condition are factors to consider. Shortened barrel versions will probably shoot well if bore OK, but can't be restored to original condition. Almost impossible to source nosecaps, but if mid-band is still on stock, forend extensions can be made. I sold restored forend versions for +$600 a couple of years ago. They are all appreciating in value. The WW1 snipers often cut back forends. Could be because forend pressure had bad effect of accuracy. So you can always say you have a "sniperized" iron sight version if you find a full length barrel MkIII with forend cut back.
