Ross Rifle stock markings question

Hi Dosing. This is a Ross that has found its way to India. I remember when International Firearms brought in a load and the odd one usually soaked in rangoon oil appeared at the shows. The KKJ are the initials of one of the many arsenals in India. There are books that list most of the arsenals but I don't have one. It even may be listed in one of Skennerton's books. Of course 11 43 is the date that rifle was accepted in that arsenal for secondary service as the primary forces weapon was the SMLE. A good guess is that these Ross rifles made their way to India as a
gift from the England. John
