Rossi 22 Mag Pump

I saw a Rossi 22 Mag Pump for sale. Would a Rossi Mag 22 also be able to accept 22 LR ammunition?

What would this rifle in good condition be worth?

Why? Other then loss of accuracy due to chamber length.. Aren't they the same diameter?

Short answer is no. 22 wmr has a bigger chamber as well as a longer one.

22lr is .222" in diameter, 22mag is .224". you can fire 22lr in a magnum chamber but you run the risk of splitting the case and having hot gas and crap blowing back at your face.
