Rossi 38/357 lever action carbine

I recently acquired a lever action .38/.357 Rossi carbine manufactured inj Brazil. The internal machining of the action looks very crude(rough) and it won't cycle the loaded rounds,jamming as they come up from the mag and the bullet noses are disfigured as they do not line up with the chamber. The extraction is positive and strong. Any help? Alex.

Clean the heck out of the action and when cycling the lever work it hard to chamber the first round. If you baby it it will not work.I have a interarms 45 that would not cycle,it was just stiff or dirty in the action,A good spray of brakekleen and some g-96 and it worked great.The feed ramp was what was getting hung up on mine.Now it is great!! Good luck.

What Profile Bullet are you using ?
