Rossi 62 pump 22lr, l, s....any experience?

These are replica's patterned after the original Winchester Model 62 gallery gun's aren't they? I believe the Rossi/Garcia company was fairly recently acquired by Taurus International Firearms. I have a carbine model and find it a lot of fun to plink with but don't greatly care for the big blocky squared iron sights it came with, though I remember one time my samoyed/collie dog flushed a ruffy which then flew up onto the top of a spruce tree, and so I shot it in the head with that gun no problem. Then my dog must have thought it was his cause he came up behind me when I was carrying it and tried to snatch it away. A good tug of war ensued which finally ensured the proper ownership of the bird as mine.

Ended up buying it after. Had it up to the range today and what a hoot. Love the all metal and wood and solid feel. Shot 22lr and 22 short cb's without a hitch. Pretty accurate too.

They are drilled and tapped for a tang sight. Taurus makes a reproduction tang sight for them with an aluminum base that is a lot of fun to shoot with. At about 45 bucks, it's cheaper by far than the Marbles tang sights. I put one on my 1890 Win, and it's a real hoot!

According to what I read on rimfire central there's a Taurus 62 B-Square mount availible too as well as one from Taurus so you can even mount a scope. http://www.taurususa.com/products/carrifsmb.cfm

No clue how they'd work or if they'd fit my Rossi carbine.

Anyone know how to take the tub mag apart for cleaning?
Do you have to beat that little pin out near the base in order to get the end cap off?
