Rossi Circuit Judge... Thoughts?

Hello all!

So everyone has that 'wet-dream' purchase well above their price range, the Rossi Circuit Judge is something that I've just liked the concept of (despite revolving-action rifles & carbines not being the most rational of designs). I've seen a review here and there criticizing and (lightly) praising it's capabilities.

Any owners, first hand users, or folks brimming with opinions have anything to note about it?
I would probably use it for target shooting, maybe as a "one hunt camp but never again" gun:runaway:... but I'd like to stay optimistic!

**I wasn't too sure which board to post this thread, since I'm fairly new to firearms I figure this would be a good place**
 
Funny too, when I first started looking into it I had the same sentiment... When I brought the question up when I was getting my PAL, my instructors noted that they thought it was non-restricted. There seemed to be some confusion as well when I did a quick google search.
 
Gun is Restricted , have one & the paper work to go with it . Nice little shooter . Also have a Uberti American Carbine in 44 mag., looks the similar but not restricted . Go figure ! I was told that the reasoning behind the restricted is because the Circuit Judge was based on the Judge which is a hand gun .

Have had one for a couple of years as well, and was told by the Alberta CFO rep that it is easily converted to a hand gun, which is why its restricted. What? So are lot of other rifles (ie 10/22 hand gun kit) so simply a stupid reason - but cant argue with the "authorities". Mines for sale if you want one - next to useless to me except as range entertainment. PM if interested.
