I have a Rossi Model 62 pump (same as a Win 62) which had a broken part when I bought it. The small swivelling cartridge stop mounted on the carrier just below where the cartridge sits was broken in two.
I gunsmith made a new one but this gun has never functioned properly.
By some judicious re shaping and polishing I got the carrier to lift when there are no cartridges in the magazine, but with a cartridge on the carrier and one in the magazine the carrier absolutely refuses to lift.
Any ideas ?
Can someone photograph theirs so I can see the correct original contours of the cartridge stop(s).
