Sounds like a great Idea. There are several forums here on CGN where people have posted reviews and thier opinions. Here is a link you may find helpful

That's a question better asked here ---> http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=569971&highlight=Rossi+Ranch+Hand

But the short answer is the stock rear sight is poorly cut and causes a tendancy for most rifles to shoot high, until you change the rear sight ($20-$40)...

I love my .44mag Ranch Hand !

;)

If I want to up charge the 45 LC to close to 44 magnum level, can the gun barrel stand, Or any suggestion to the amount of up loading.

Any chance of getting a regular 20 inch barrel length Rossi 92 in .357 (preferably stainless but i can live with a blued version) in stock? I've been looking for one for at least a year without any luck and yet suddenly and annoyingly these chopped versions of the same gun are available all over the place, lol!

Those holsters look pretty good.

It would be great if you could post some pics of a Ranch Hand in the holster.

Maybe even a picture with it strapped to someone's leg.

Steve's Guns in Texas is the "go-to" expert on Rossi lever-guns... He would know for sure.

* not that Frontiers info isn't valid/good, they simply haven't replied yet.

Are there any plans to bring more .44 mags in, in the near future. Also is it possible to order a full buttstock from rossi? Thx.

Yes, these should/will take the pressure. There is tons of info regarding that on the web and I have been shooting 45 Colt +P loads with no signs or issues for a while now. Took a deer at 100 m with a 300 gr and when through one shoulder and out the ribs and through a 4" tree behind. I'm now sold on the 45 as a very impressive round.

I have ordered a few parts from Steve's and have had no issues and the stuff is great. Get the peep sight that replaces the safety. Its a huge improvement and now I can get 5 shot 1.5"-2" groups at 50 m and just under 3" at 125 m. Steve's are a little slow to ship but well worth the wait.
