Rossi Ranch Hand LOOP

Bonjour!

I did not wanted to highjack other thread and i got a Ranch Hand 44 Mag coming so i would like to know..

1) Is there a place I can buy a small or medium LOOP to replace the bigass one ? (I am fully aware its easier to operate with winter glove.. i dont care.. ) I dont got the gear to weld or cut it myself.

2) Is it replaceable by non-smith ?

Can you buy another loop from another model of Rossi that will happen to fit in the Ranch Hand ?

Any hint/help are welcome!

in theory any loop from a 1892 style action can be fitted ....... some might just take a lot more work to fit than others .

what i would do is see if one of the rossi dealers can get you a regular sized loop off of a full sized rossi 1892 rifle . this should be a direct drop in replacement .

in the huge ranch hand thread , i had the impression that wanstalls might be looking at bringing in some of the smaller loops .

the other option is , there are a couple smiths in the states who specialise in not just 1892's , but the rossi's specificly ,it might be worth your time to send them off a email to see if they can get you a regularsized loop for your ranch hand .
