rossi replacement barrel

i have a rossi .223 youth rifle,and was wondering if anyone knew if i could use a replacement barrel on this gun something like a .270.i have seen they do sell a shotgun,.243 and 3006 combos,and the bearrel looks the same as mine.so i assume it would work,and if anyone knows anyone who sells these barrels,any info is greatly appreciated,thanxs.

Rossi doesn't appear to sell extra barrels for anything. Having one made would cost more than your rifle is worth too. A .30-06 would hurt out of a 6.22 lb rifle.

The barrels are "matched" in the combination guns, so you cant do what you propose.
