Rossi RS22 Magnum Semi Auto

I have seen a few dealers are carrying this rifle. A few videos on YouTube show that it seems to be a decent rifle overall, but I'm not convinced as the videos are not the greatest reviews.

Has anyone here used one of these rifles that can enlighten me on them?

I figure a 22 magnum semi auto might scratch my Rimfire itch.

Quick answer=no, no experience with those. My answer will almost always be "get a bolt action", but I personally feel that's an even better answer when it comes to 22WMR. I'm certainly no expert, but it's been my experience that semis are less accurate than bolt actions....and that 22WMR could use all the help it can get when it comes to shooting accurately.

Some applications simply don't require 1" groups @ 100 yards, so my one-size-fits-all answer isn't always the best advice. Where uncommon/lesser-known brands enter the conversation, about all I can suggest is that you look at what Rossi offers for warranty support in Canada, and try to get a sense of what parts/spare mags etc. are available for these if req.
