These super handy little 410s just showed up. With the versatility of the 410 shotgun shell these little guys can do just about anything! Even better they are a great value at $180.99.

No......................a great idea is the new model with the longer stock and better shell storage these are the old models.Too short to shoot. In about a year you can order the new stock /parts that will fit these as I was talking to Rossi.

Damn that's short even for a youth gun! Might have to get one for my wife... (she's under 5feet tall)

Edit to add: what's the choke? Rossi claims its 3lbs, that sound right?

yes it is, I was just surprised
is this action an "out of patent" design?
Apparently the Tuffy has been on the market at least since 2010
Also, it doesn't seem to have or allow any choke

Have you found anything that says what the choke is? I didn't look hard but I saw no mention of it one way or the other, and most 410s are full choke it seems...?

The bead looks way too low...?

I think the original design / manufacturer stopped making a few years ago so probably sold the tooling / design and Stevens had made in China , surprised as Turkey is the place for cheap shotguns! Flame suit on.... Not really a need to choke an 18” .410 as it is what it is.

it is a good action though (I own a 301)
ejects nicely and the external hammer is cool

I believe H&R was the original designer, I was tempted on a 301 but for a few $ more I got a 20” Hugla from another sponsor. Both are an effective simple reliable shotgun IMHO
