The Guys at the hunt camp always look forward to supper when I make it.
I do it a little differently but mostly the same.
Instead of regular bacon I use double smoked bacon and rather
than slices a huge big chunk.
A few other differences not really worth mentioning
as everyone has a different way to make it.

Ever made your own bacon? It is very easy.

I can explain if you want, it is delicious when made by hand with high quality pork bellies.

Looks awesome. Haven't had it since I was a kid (30+ years ago). I'm going to try it with some deer next week. Wonder how the thin layer of meat on the outside of the ribcage will work (flank steak?!?)

My all time favourite dish meat stuffed with more meat. I can make it pretty good but nothing will ever beat my oma's rouladin.
