Just finally got my PAL in the mail and looking to buy my first handgun. Leaning strongly towards a Sig P226 but would like to buy it used or refurbished to save some money. Looking at used guns posts a lot of time in the add the mention round count. What numbers would be consider high middle and low and what numbers do I want to stay away from? Thanks for the help

I would not buy a used firearm from a source I did not trust.
A seller can say whatever he or she likes about round counts but they can lie. The wear and tare on a gun does not lie. Always inspect a gun before you buy it ( if possible).
I wouldn't buy a semi auto with more than 10000 rounds through it. To be honest tho that's just a number. I've seen guns that have 2000 rounds through them that look worse than ones with 20000 rounds.

Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

I bought one of those factory refurbished sigs. It was the older model without the frunt bottom rail. It was like new very happy with it.
