I have a Marlin 1894c in .357/.38. The manual and other users are strong in stating to not use pointed bullets of any sort. I use semi-wadcutter .357 magnums without any fear, since they are very flat at the tips. The "roundnose" .38 is a different story since it looks pointed in comparison.

I'm told roundnose is safe, and since these are Winchester lead-cast bullets, they are not pointed. (I think they are the 158 grain stuff though I'd have to check.)

I've already fired about 30 in the tube magazine without problem. But I thought I'd check anyway. These lead Winchester .38 round nose are safe for tube mags, right?

Do they even make pointed .38 specials?

That's all I use in mine. Should be no problemo.

Same. I have fired hundreds through mine with zero problems as well. This is a bigger issue if you are using spire point or FMJ ammo, both of which you won't be in that calibre anyway......
