RPG Scope?

I got this last fall and am curious what exactly it is. I suspect it is an RPG 7 scope, as the former owner thought it was, but I haven't found any other examples. Also, anyone know what batteries and bulbs go with it? It seems in very good shape as the reticle is crystal clear, but either the bulb is burnt out or the batteries are dead, as there is no illumination. Former owner said he had it for about 30 years. All the rubber is nice and soft. Also, what's it worth?

RPG 7 scope indeed. It only takes special commie military battery not available in the west. The only alternative is to buy a pricey battery adapter in US that would take commercial camera batteries. Spare bulbs and different colour lenses do show up on ebay from time to time. And of course you would also need a RPG 7 to go with the scope.

The Iraqi ones brought back by returning GIs apparently use reg commercial battery but these have since pretty much dried up in the milsurp market.

Gunplumberr, perhaps you may want to upgrade your RPG and buy the scope from H Wally. Looks like your current scope is missing the battery compartment for night time tank hunting.
