RPR Enhanced: What brand of magazines came with your factory RPR?

I am reading that some of the RPR Enhanced rifles are shipping with Magpul PMags and some (mine in particular) shipped with 2 x AccurateMags.

I have not even opened the plastic factory wrapping from the 2 Accurate Mags, but I've got some MDT Polymer magazines from MDTTac or Lazlo K who is a great guy/business dude. I've been shooting the RPR with the MDT Polymer mags with great fun, even if the 10th round inserted shows a tiny bit of bulging, but that bulging effect does not change the operation of the rifle so it's kinda a moot point. :cool:

What magazines are included with your RPR Enhanced rifle in .308 or 6.5 Creedmore???

For what it's worth, a sales guy at Cabela's gun counter here. Told me that their last shipment of RPR's had to be sent back, due to P Mags instead of the Accurate Mags being included.

Again, from a Cabela's sales guy. Mmmmmm
 
Not sure what the enhanced comes with, but I run P-mags in my original version .308 both the 10 round and the 5 and they work great.
 
Mine came with two metal mags with Ruger stamped on the cover plate.

Both mags jam often because the feed lips aren't angled enough and the rounds wedge into the taper.

They both need a little attention with a ball peen hammer.

The gun runs fine with real AI mags.

Running into the same problem with mine, could you provide a picture of what you did to fix it? Thanks in advance, neither of my two mags feed properly

I didn't fix them yet. I just use AI mags for now.

I'll need to find a way to bend the feed lips without making the mag worse than it already is.
 
Quick question, (and excuse my ignorance on the rules). Why is one magazine allowed in Canada and not the other? They both hold 10 rounds and since it is a bolt action what difference would make one magazine ok, and not another.
