RPR in. 223. Ideal COL? And other rpr loading questions

Hi I'm new to this site.
Just wondering to any of you guys loading for your .223 ruger precision... for COL I came to 2.293" doing some shenanigan method. Anyway wondering what you got to see if I'm in the ballpark, to get ~0.015" off the lands.

Also I'm using 75gr bthp hornady match, first 5 groups at 100 seemed pretty good and thinking of loading a bunch more. Using 23.5gr varget, American eagle federal brass (probably not that good of stuff) and wsr primers.

Anyway just looking for some pointers here to get that bullet to optimal performance for me.
And curious what you rpr owners are shooting.

Tagged. So far I have only worked on a 80gr ELDM load for mine, but I did pick up some 75gr hornady bthp this winter and plan to try them as well. Unfortunately it is -20C outside so no progress until that improves.
 
I hear ya. This winter won't quit, really cutting into ideal shooting conditions.

Tried about 50 rounds of hornadys 60gr vmaxs but they weren't grouping much tighter than 3/4". Too light I guess.

Each gun is different, you're not going to find the answer on the internet, you need to measure yourself.

Not it sure how sensitive the RPR is to longer seated bullets and the magazine size, but are you prepared
to load long and single shot if necessary?

Several ways to get/measure overall length, I suggest YouTube for pointers.

Not all rifles are as sensitive to this as others, but my Tikka is.....have to load single shots for my very best loads
as overall length is too long to fit in mags. The price we sometimes pay for best accuracy on the bench.

The RPR has the opposite problem. The mag is super long, 2.600" max length, but the throat is super short, so you can't go much beyond factory 223 length.
 
I haven't loaded for a RPR but my Ruger Gunsite Scout 223 has a long throat, I am at 2.45" with the 73gr ELD
