Good morning everyone. I had a Ruger Precision 308. Love the rifle so was the obvious choice when I decided I was going to switch to the 6.5 creedmoor. So I sold my 308 and bought a new 6.5. Problem is when I got it the cocking piece guide was broken. I tore it apart and got it out and called ruger. After a big run around they finally are sending me a new cocking piece guide but will take 6-8 weeks. So In short two questions. Does anyone know what will happen if you fire the rifle without the cocking piece guide installed. And second does anyone have a stock or aftermarket trigger assembly they would be willing to part with. Thanks in advance everyone.
