I got a 2 stage RRA trigger from Santa and have a Question on the installation.
The kit come with Oversize pin. Any reason for that ?
The fit seems very tight in my blue line lower and I didn't want to force it like a mad man so I kept the Old ones. I works I fired about 60 rounds and didn't notice anything particular beside a smooth trigger. Are they oversize to avoid losing a pins since springs dont secure them as good as the OEM stiff ones ?

I was wondering if JP springs would lower the trigger pull even more, Are they weaker than the RRA ?
My gun weight a ton and only sit on a bench rest so the lighter the trigger the more I like it.

Thanks

Over sized pin's or are they for the large whole reciever's? The stock ones can be used and the new ones are not needed but can be made to fit. As for the JP spring kit with the RRA NM 2 stage trigger set-up I have yet to have a light stike although my surplus is limited to only IVI or A/E sardin can. I am plaining on next year picking up some of that russin steel cased laquer ammo and was wondering the same thing.

I seriously doubt that the pins that came with your RRA 2 Stage NM Trigger are "Oversize" or out of spec. It is much more likely that the holes on your lower are out of spec given that you are using an "off brand" lower.

We have sold literally hundreds of the RRA triggers and I have never had a single case reported where the 2-Stage NM Trigger pins were "Oversize"... I suppose that anything is possible... but the reality is that there have been previous reports of various Canadian made lowers having issues with "tighter" than desired pin holes. This can be as simply as the anodizing being too thick and thereby causing the holes to be "undersize" and making parts fit too tight.

If you know someone else who owns an AR then perhaps you can try your RRA Pins in their lower just to confirm if they fit or not. They should be snug (not loose)... but they should fit even with finger pressure alone.

If there is an issue with the RRA pins being out of spec then there's no issue getting them replaced... but, with all due respect, I don't think that's the source of your problem.
